These Terms of Service govern your use of Student Notebook AI, including the mobile apps, website, and related services. By using Student Notebook AI, you agree to these terms.

Service overview

Student Notebook AI helps students capture notes, process PDFs, record and transcribe lectures, organize tasks, and use AI-assisted study features. Features may change over time as the service is improved.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to use the service only for lawful purposes.

User content

You keep ownership of notes, files, audio, images, tasks, and other content you create or upload. You grant Student Notebook AI permission to process that content as needed to provide app features, including storage, syncing, transcription, text recognition, summaries, and other AI-assisted study tools.

Subscriptions and billing

Student Notebook AI offers auto-renewable subscriptions for premium study features, including expanded AI chat access, cloud OCR, PDF processing, slide generation, audio transcription, cloud sync, and an ad-free experience.

Student Notebook AI plans:

• Plus Plan: $4.99 per month. Includes expanded AI chat, Cloud Vision and Mistral OCR up to 100 images per month each, unlimited notes and subjects, PDF processing up to 1,000 pages per month, slide generation, audio transcription up to 100 minutes per month, full cloud sync, and no ads.
• Pro Plan: $14.99 per month. Includes all available AI models, Cloud Vision and Mistral OCR up to 500 images per month each, unlimited notes and subjects, PDF processing up to 3,000 pages per month, slide generation, audio transcription up to 400 minutes per month, full cloud sync, no ads, and priority support.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID account settings at any time after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period, but canceling auto-renew will stop future renewals. Refunds are handled by Apple or the app store where the purchase was made.

Advertising

The free version of Student Notebook AI may display banner, interstitial, or rewarded advertisements provided by Google AdMob or similar advertising partners. Your interaction with an advertisement may be subject to the advertiser's own terms and privacy practices. Advertising does not mean that Student Notebook AI endorses the advertised product or service. Paid plans provide an ad-free experience. Our Privacy Policy explains how advertising partners may process information in connection with ads.

Apple standard EULA

For downloads from the Apple App Store, your use of Student Notebook AI is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ .

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service for illegal, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
• Do not upload content that infringes another person's rights.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or misuse the service.
• Only record or transcribe audio when you have any consent required by law.

AI-generated output

AI-assisted features can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing generated summaries, transcriptions, study materials, and answers before relying on them for academic, professional, legal, medical, financial, or other important decisions.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected. It is available at /privacy-policy.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We may also update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Disclaimer

Student Notebook AI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Student Notebook AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.
